Ms. Kwong has been engaged in marriage and family therapy for many years. There are three years of family counseling in different elementary schools, mainly responsible for family counselling, leading SEN student groups, leading parent lectures and workshops on discipline. She has handled cases of self-harm, bullying and truancy. Thus, she helps students and parents deal with emotions and provide effective assistance. She also led the parent workshop and talks in the PTA of Secondary School to help parents understand the youth’s growth process, making adjustments, and accompany growth. She also held talks and workshops for parents in different churches which is related to discipline and emotions. In past counselling experience, Ms. Kwong deeply understands the difficulties of youth’s growth and the tension between parents and children. She also knew the conflicts and hurts caused by different expectations of couples, and how the original family affects the existing family. In recent years, she has received training in emotional orientation therapy to help recipients more effectively deal with emotional distress and trauma. Besides marriage and family counselling, she has experience in personal growth, pre-marital counselling, depression and emotional distress.
